Chapter 1163
The call was made but no one answered.
Sandy didn’t hang up, just listened until it came over there, “The call you dialed was unanswered, please call again later…”
She took off the phone and sat on the steps in a daze, blaming herself to death, thinking it was her ignorance that caused the things like this.
The nasal cavity became sore at first, and the eyes flushed.
She didn’t know how long she had been sitting, and the mobile phone in her hand suddenly rang. She looked down and showed Peter’s number. She had a lot of things to say to him, but now she didn’t know how to speak to him.
She sniffed, tried to adjust her emotions, and pressed the answer button, and Peter’s voice immediately came over there, “Why take so long to answer the phone?”
Sandy said nothing.
Peter reacted quickly this time and asked, “Angry because I didn’t answer your call? Just now my cell phone was dropped in the office. I went to a meeting and saw the missed phone call, so I immediately returned to you.”
“I am not angry with you, I am angry with myself.” Sandy lowered her eyes, “When are you going home today?”
“It may be a little later today. I won’t go back for dinner at night, and have dinner with my colleagues.” His promotion order came down, and they asked him to treat while working together.
It’s not easy to shirk.
“I’ll be waiting for you.” Sandy pursed her lips, “I have something to tell you tonight.”
Peter said, “Okay.”
“Are you busy, I hung up.” Sandy hung up.
She adjusted her mood, got up, and left the hospital.
In the evening, she waited from 6 o’clock to 11 o’clock in the night before the door of the room rang. Peter wore a shirt with a uniform over his arm and opened the door and walked in.
Sandy sat on the sofa, curled up, and turned her head when she heard the sound. Through the faint light, she saw Peter’s face reddened. She went down to the ground and put on slippers and walked closer to him. She smelled the faint wine on his body.
Frowned, “Did you drink?”
“One point, my colleague forced me to drink, couldn’t say no,” Peter said.
Sandy took the clothes in his hand and hung it up and helped him to sit on the sofa. Peter said, “I haven’t drunk too much, don’t you have something to tell me?”
Sandy poured a glass of water and handed it to him.
Peter took a sip and put it on the table, and asked, “What are you going to tell me?”
Sandy looked at him.
Peter took her hand and said, “Sandy, I have been promoted.”
If usually, Sandy would hug him at this moment and say admiringly, “Congratulations.”
But at this moment she couldn’t tell.
“What’s the matter with you?” She, who is usually lively, suddenly fell silent, Peter was very disturbed, “Is it because I am late and you are not happy?”
Now as long as Sandy is unhappy, he will review whether he has done something again, and it is something that would make her unhappy.
Thinking about going, came back later.
Sandy shook her head, “No.”
“That’s because I drank? It’s a colleague…”
“Peter.” Suddenly Sandy interrupted him, “…I, I…”
It was originally a thing worthy of joy, but now she has made a mess.
“What’s the matter with you?” Peter reached out and hugged her.
Sandy lay in his arms and asked hoarsely, “If I did something wrong, would you forgive me?”
“Yeah.” Peter k!ssed her forehead.
“I…I have it.” Sandy plucked up courage.
“Yeah.” Peter asked afterwards, “what’s the matter?”
Sandy grabbed the corner of his clothes and bit her lip, “I, I have your baby.”
Chapter 1164
Peter’s body stiffened suddenly, as if he hadn’t digested the news, and it seemed difficult to describe his feelings with joy.
His Adam’s apple rolled up and down, and asked in a low voice, “When is it?”
In the next second, he hugged Sandy tightly, and said incoherently happy, “You are pregnant? Am I a father?”
This disappearance was too sudden, and it was difficult to suppress excitement, “Sandy, I’m so happy.”
Happy, don’t know what to say.
“Woo…” Sandy suddenly lay in his arms and started crying.
Peter was startled, “Why are you crying?”
He reached out and wiped her tears.
Sandy cried more fiercely, choked up, “I was taking medicine.”
Peter was confused, “What medicine have you taken?”
Sandy looked at him with watery eyes open, “I, I didn’t know that I was pregnant and I was not feeling well, so I went to a small clinic, said it was gastroenteritis, and gave me several boxes of medicine.”
“I took it, and I didn’t see any improvement after taking it for a day. I went to the big hospital. The doctor said I am pregnant, but because I took the medicine…”
Peter took two deep breaths, trying to be as calm as possible, “Why don’t you go to the big hospital if you are uncomfortable?”
“I have trouble…”
Peter stood up suddenly, both good and bad came too fast. He couldn’t change his mood for a while, and he was usually dull. At this moment, he was walking restlessly in front of the sofa. Sandy thought he was angry, and tears fell.
The body trembled and whimpered, “It’s all my fault.”
Peter looked at her, saw her crying sadly, sat back on the sofa, and hugged her into his arms, “It’s okay, it’s okay, don’t blame you, don’t blame you.”
She was young, and it was not her intention that something went wrong.
“Blam me.” Sandy blamed himself to death.
“Tomorrow we will go to the hospital again and see what the doctor says.” Peter wiped her tears, “Stop crying.”
