Chapter 837
Alyssa believed that Smith does not tell lies.

Karl is somewhere ….. and I’m 100% sure he will defend Alyssa will do Clifford will hurt her (Smith will do the same).
So that Karl can show Alyssa that she has always been in his heart since the day she gave him hindes pen. Clifford has then figured it out and thus will not give up and destroy Alyssa.
Another theory is that Karl has had the pen with him as it means everything to him, Clifford has the knowledge to log her there for her to see Karl suffer as his mother does.
